Dr. Archana Jajodia

Archana Jajodia, Ph.D.

Founder · Licensed Psychologist CA & OR (PSY23133)

My name is pronounced UR-chuh-nah Jah-JOH-di-yah — you can call me Dr. J. I am a clinical psychologist licensed in California and Oregon. I started my career as a software engineer but recognized that helping others was my true calling.

I have experienced depression and anxiety myself and consider psychological struggles a normal part of human existence. A regular practice of mindfulness and meditation has helped me in my own life, and I encourage my clients to explore it too.

I enjoy working with Indians, Asians, immigrants, African Americans, Latinos, and the LGBTQ+ community. I am fluent in Hindi, Urdu, and English.

Note: My practice is currently closed to new clients.

Dr. J and I came together out of a shared belief in the power of therapy to alleviate suffering and create lasting personal change. Before studying psychology, I worked for many years as a journalist and grant writer in Guatemala and Mexico.
